#2Flagged, sorrowfully. There's probably something socially profound in this story, but online fora are far too coarse in granularity to get at it. Driving through a minefield in a Range Rover does nobody any good.

#3I don't think calling Stewart a bigot would be grounds for firing Sanchez, but to me, the following sure is:

Dominick brought up Jews, not Sanchez. I find it odd that Stewart can insult anyone and anything and keep his job. Sanchez insults Prince John and loses his head.
For the record, I can't stand any of the talking heads on TV, including Colbert and Stewart.

I bet Sanchez also thinks that Stewart received a phone call from the Mussad on 9/11, not to come near the World Trade Center that day. When someone starts explaining anti-semitic conspiracy theories on the air, it's time to let him go.

In my reading, he was talking about privileged white liberals. Dominick brought up Jews.
I always find it odd that talking heads are "allowed" to discuss conspiracy theories involving Christians or Muslims but are verboten from discussing Jewish ones. For the record, I'm Jewish.
