You want people to exercise discipline, read something and try to understand the author's viewpoint, and think about their response instead of some random knee-jerk reaction that sounds like some sound bite of their favorite pundit or politician?

Yeah. I'd like that, too.

Sadly people are too stupid to do that. "A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it."
