Responding to everyday bigotry

What do I do as a single white male who's made to feel uncomfortable about how I was born and inferred qualities I may or may not have? None of the myriad of these articles address the gross double standard of who is allowed to be free of criticism, harassment and discrimination because it's dismissed as my feelings having no value.
