That kind of shit is so tiresome.
The second most plausible explanation kinda aligns with the reality in the first part, at least:
a crazy person staged this and then escaped (and maybe killed him/herself.)
.. either way, why is this interesting? (is it even ethical to make something like prominent?)

Unless you mean that is your opinion, there is no reports of this being a proved hoax... At least nothing like that on the front page results I went through.

I'm so tired of this story coming up on brazilian news, just a kid desperate for attention and everyone is losing their minds as if he was part of some sort of ~dark cult~.Clearly just news channels who have nothing to talk about making loads of money over this story.
