I'm seeing this trend a lot more.

Editorial boards are cutting staff and research funds for journalism, and writers get paid per column inch.

They go to any sort of controversial/clickbaity thread in Quora/Reddit, copy and paste a bunch of content, and then throw some pictures in the article, and call it a day.

No analysis, nothing.

Talk about mailing it in.

Well in this case you can joke about it coming full circle since Google is the ad and ranking company, that rewards such antics.
