Just curious after looking at DrillDB's submission history.
Although it is not something I'm likely to use, the story of a project's development and its technical details are often interesting and the sort of thing I come to Hacker News for. My random thoughts from the internet is that writing about those might reach more people than a naked link.
Clearly, there's so much invested in DrillDB that there has to be an interesting story behind it.
