This is completely meaningless since it doesn't take into account patches. I.e. It doesn't characterize the number of exploitable vulnerabilities on devices and still open to attack - just the number that were reported during the year.

The fact that there is still no jailbreak for the current version of iOS, whilst there are active million-node android botnets paints a different picture.

Why is Mac OSX one item yet Windows is split up at every single version? Even Air seems weirdly split up.
