Looking for smart, creative software development engineers. 3-5+ years of experience. Must have Computer Science degree.
The Software Development Engineer’s primary task is write high quality, maintainable and robust code, often in Java.
This is an extremely challenging role that demands strong software development skills, analytical and problem-solving experience.
Basic Qualifications: * 5+ years of hands-on software development experience (with a focus on scalable services) * Strong knowledge of object oriented analysis/design (OOA/OOD), data structures, algorithms and designing for performance, scalability and availability * Experience writing code in at least two of the following: Java, C, C++, C#, Perl, Python, Ruby * Experience developing and architecting software within Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) * Understanding of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST. * Familiarity with Java-based frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate * Experience working with relational databases (Oracle/PLSQL and JDBC a plus) * Experience working within Linux based development environments * Broad knowledge of web-based solutions ranging front-end UIs through back-end services and all points in between * Familiarity with software development testing approaches * Familiarity with JavaScript and web-based AJAX frameworks such as jQuery a plus
Preferred Qualifications: Internet and operating system security fundamentals * Understanding of system and application performance and characteristics
