Is this supposed to be a link to an iPhone app? All I get is Apple asking me to install iTunes.

Wow that is surprisingly more complicated than I would have thought. He made has a bunch of geolocation stuff to find the exact date of the user to give the answer.

IT was a link to an iPhone app. The iPhone app appeared to just be large letters that said "no".

I'm not entirely sure what the point of this is supposed to be.

Now here's a great example of an elegant solution to a common problem: keeping track of Christmas. How many times have you woken up in a haze, drenched in sweat, desperately wondering whether or not today is Christmas? Well, worry no longer!

Agreed. Here's the github repository for the isitchristmas.com website, which performs similar debauchery based on your originating IP address:
