Well that tells me the rough cultural area alt187 might be pointing to, but I could use some more clarity. Are you saying that pronouns/transgender/queerness are the ideology? Or are you showing them as shibboleths of a broader ideological tendency that's prevailing in FOSS?

The proximity with that rough cultural area is only incidental, I think. In fact, I think if you sit around for 10 mlre years, the tide will have entirely turned.

I'm not gonna get into detail, but for me, some defining elements:

- A compulsive need to criticize, demean and replace every piece of code written in C by Rust (rarely, it's another language).

- A willingness and strong activism to separate from figures that created the FOSS landscape, like Richard Stallman.

- A sort of laxism towards non-free software, and a particularly cringy hype towards corporate lip service paid to OSS, or trojan horses.

- Subtle propositions made to consolide FOSS communities around centralized services, and promiting those.

This isn't exhaustive, because it's just off the top of my head.

This also was my best guess. A "victimless crime" kind of logic that really really creeps me out.

It is a bit unsettling, but at the risk of false dichotomy, I'd rather them get off on cartoon girls or women than getting their fill with real underage girls or otherwise unconsenting women.

It really should be recognised just how many people are watching Cloudflare interstitials on nearly every site these days (and I totally get why this happens) yet making a huge amount of noise about Anubis on a very small amount of sites.

I don't trip over CloudFlare except when in a weird VPN, and then it always gets out of my way after the challenge. Anubis screws with me a lot, and often doesn't work.

Unless your bank supports it, you will need a windows/mac computer to activate, as it uses the https://plugin.connective.eu/ browser plugin to read out your ID, which doesn't support Linux. Maybe it has changed, last I tried was more than a year ago and that time, my bank (AXA) couldn't be used to activate, so the only other option was browser activation.

Not at all. I can't stand it either. It's definitely patronising and infantile. I tolerate the silliness, grit my teeth and move on but it wears away at my patience.

This is why I add anime catgirls to nearly everything I build. I'm glad the effort isn't in vain!

I think I'd be down for anime catgirls in my builds. Something particularly anti-corporate about that I could get behind.
