You'd be surprised (maybe) how few monitors there are in particular categories. For what it's worth I bought the Dell U3224KB last year. I don't know why it's never on any of the "recommended" lists for mac-friendly monitors, but it's frankly amazing.

It's not super cheap, but it's significantly cheaper than the other 6K 32" display on the market, and has a lot more utility (additional ports including 2.5GbE and a bunch of usb ports front and rear).

Do regular users use more than 250GB or so of local storage? Large media collections are likely stored on a NAS or external HDDs and the local disk is more for the OS, apps, and scratch space. Nowadays many files are on the cloud as well. Developers, video editors, and other people who actually handle large amounts of data locally will likely purchase an upgrade. While they're Linux systems pretty much all my desktop…

They switched a year earlier than mandated. There’s a very good chance it was actually already in the works.

Also, they switched to USB-C in iPad before EU even introduced anything on USB-C.

The sell but Apple makes around twice as much from services as they do from Mac. Wearables are even bigger than Mac. And within Mac, 90% of sales are laptops. I don't think Apple focuses that much about desktop Macs.

Imagine you are running a digital design shop and you want to determine two things:

- the software that your users are running is licensed. - the media that is produced is stored on a central resource that's tightly managed and comprehensively backed up.

If so, maybe having client machines with minimal disk space is what you want?
