I could get a significant pay boost jumping to META, why I personally know 2 people with those fancy 8-figure comp packages. However, life is too short for the shenanigans that would ensue if I did.

Just do it and do a very mediocre job

I'd be lying if I said I've never been tempted, but I'm just too old to put up with it now.

X is a derelict brand. I've got little love for Dorsey and Twitter, but the current website is a flaming wreckage where Twitter once stood.

It's usable if you judiciously use lists. I found mastodon inconsistent in timely information and Bluesky is Dorsey's loonies on crack.

People said that Twitter was usable if you filtered out the cryptocurrency scams with lists.

I think both types of users are in denial about how awful their website is, it's a "frying pan vs fire" situation.
