That's fascinating, because recently I started thinking that I'm underestimating how long we've been able to craft (which may be different than engineer, or mass manufacture) things precisely. Recently I dug teeny bit into pocket watches, and then wrist watches, which turnst out were a thing way longer than I imagined!
