The ballroom is scheduled be ready in January 2029 assuming no delays. But by that time Trump will be at the end of his term. So is he doing this for future presidents (would be very much unlike him) or is he planning to stick around after Jan 2029?

Or maybe he just actually wants to improve things and isn't the monster you think he is?

Because he was prosecuted for doing drugs and owning a gun? There's literal video of Joe Rogan smoking pot and he talks about his concealed weapons permit. It would be a slam dump case, some how i don't think he's getting prosecuted because its selective law open to abuse. Seems perfectly good use of pardon.

Don't let Trump pardon anyone? People are outraged because it is outrageous.

Can you imagine positive reasons why the pardon wouldn't be outrageous? This might be a more thought-provoking question. Is there no nuisance to this pardon?

The White House is a pretty significant symbol of this country, so yeah, I think they might care that a big chunk of it was just torn down.

A chunk that hasn’t been around that long - but most people aren’t being told that part.

While you’re changing the constitution, include:

  - double dissolution to sack the government
  - make the election a public holiday

Conservatives around the world seem to be comparing notes because over here the now former president pardoned quite a few high-profile cases and at least one before the sentence was given, which was bizarre, as you can't do that and the president, holding a PhD in law, should have known this.

In any case it appears that not only funds are safu, but Zhao is safu as well.
