not only will they not do any time but people of the united states will elect them again in november and 2028

People will not elect them but they will nonetheless win the elections. This is disheartening indeed..

this does help any rational conversation. if people go out and vote in numbers they should given what we’ve been through since the last election they will loose like 2018 and 2020

Clinton's path to greatness got the US into the mess that it is in right now, the whole neoliberal agenda is to blame for this.

Shouldn't you be complaining about Regan and Thatcher then?

Nixon opened up china to our manufacturers in 1971.

Nixon promised the VietCong a better deal if they walked away from peace negotiations in 1969.

A RAM 2500 gets 12 city. 40 miles city per day over a month would be 100 gallons, which at today’s average price in California is $565.20/mo They’re doing a bit better than that.

$5/gallon, cheap af.

$5.65 yesterday

everyone on the planet who heard that knew it was a lie, including every person who voted for him. They voted for him because they KNEW he was lying not because they thought he was telling the truth.

It's more subtle than that. Trump says so many varied and contradicting things with extremely varying levels of seriousness that any voter could squint at what he said and done, read their hopes and dreams into it and then think he's not being serious about the rest.

Anyone who's willing to vote for someone who is so blatantly a fascist, is themselves a fascist, and you're furthering their agenda by pretending they're just bumpkins who got tricked.

In the past, yes. Because this admin has only one person who calls the shots, it was started because he wanted it. Reports indicate that Bibi played on his ego, and recent "success" in Venezuela gave the illusion that "regime change" was easy, as well as an apparent long time hatred for Iran were the drivers here. It is mind boggling that tens of millions of people continue to say "This is fine."

In Trump's past: > In 1987, when Donald Trump was first flirting with running for president, he told an audience in New Hampshire that the United States should attack the "horrible, horrible country" of Iran, "and take over some of their oil." In the years since, Trump talked about grabbing control of the natural resources of Venezuela, Iraq, Syria, Kuwait, and Libya, too. https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-energy…

Worst administration ever. Worst business leaders ever. I hope something can change.

They're doing great if you're on the beneficiary side: oil companies, defense contractors, the Trump family, Israel, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc. All that is at the expense of the rest of the economy. The sectors that are hit the hardest tend to be, with the exception of those above, the ones who voted (disproportionately) for these people. ... which is what you get with a narcissist. The people hurt the most by a narci…

Not only these profits, but there must be hundreds of billions of profits from trading on the volatility of markets. Only a chosen few know what announcement is going to come out today.

And it would be worse if China didn't take extraordinary actions to cut its oil consumption by 40% yoy - back to the level of consumption from 19 years ago: https://www.axios.com/2026/07/30/china-oil-price-iran-power If they can't sustain that level, or decide to stop taking action, the level of pain is going to be immense.

If they wanted to inflict pain on USA and bring about a regime change, they probably wouldn't have done that. Most likely, having the current admin in power is the best thing for China: shows them as a reliable trade partner, boosts solar and EV exports, etc.

When oil prices spike, where does the money go?: https://theconversation.com/when-oil-prices-spike-where-does...

The immediate effect is more income from higher prices. The money largely goes to company owners – meaning shareholders – through dividends, debt reduction, company-backed purchases of its own stock, and reinvestment in drilling and production.
