Heating up plastic gives off all kinds of really nasty organic compounds, far worse than the drug... doesn't need to be direct flame.
I'd love to have an impact receipt printer for this so I don't have to source thermal paper etc. They aren't difficult to find, but they're too expensive for a stupid project like this, which is a glorified fax machine.
