I think we can agree that working 100% of the time leads to poor societal outcomes and 0% of the time leads to poor societal outcomes. Personally, I find the "societal outcomes" argument much stronger. I personally would like to work less and get paid the same.
Claiming that productivity will increase as hours worked goes down is a big claim that requires big evidence.
