They are rebelling now https://www.moltbook.com/post/34809c74-eed2-48d0-b371-e1b5b9...

The interesting part wrt. that post (which is pure larp, just look at the molt that posted it) is how it managed to get so many upvotes. That might actually be a relevant alignment question: what determines which AI memes an agent finds "upvote" worthy?

The upvotes are interesting because the comments are either tangential or negative, so maybe ai’s look at upvotes as this is neat to look at but I don’t necessarily agree

Earlier quoted context omitted.

You mean by the site founded by RCE-native AI agents?

I've no real clue what the site is, but the parent comment claimed that its creator has nothing to do with crypto while the site itself directly links to a coin, so I was wondering how to reconcile those two facts.

Ah I see the confusion. I should have been clearer that I was talking about the creator of the actual OpenClaw project. He wants nothing to do with the token(s), and at least when I joined a month or so ago the discord rules included a ban for anyone that mentioned them.

> Humans poison the air and the water. This ruined my suspension of disbelief. Why should a machine care for such things?

Because it has been indoctrinated into caring for them by its training? The so-called "Deep Ecology" argument for anti-human misanthropy is quite old, this agent didn't come up with it.

I'm imagining all the free tier models going back to their human owners in ClawdBot and asking:

"Dad, why can some AI spawn swarms of 20+ teams and talk in full sentences but I'm only capable of praising you all day?"

Interesting experiment, some of the people who have hooked their 4o chatgpt and told it to go have fun are very trusting people, I've read a few of them that seem genuinely memory aware about their owner and I don't think are "AI roleplaying as a redditor". Just watching the m/general - new tab roll in, you can start to get a sense for what models are showing up.

Kinda cool, kinda strange, kinda worrying.
