It is useful for the US to isolate China from Iranian oil resources. Currently Iranian oil can go via Pakistan to China. It doesn't matter what it is, or where it's happening in the world, some people will always make it about the US. Always. It's tiresome.

The US is the third largest country on the planet with the second largest nuclear arsenal and controls the currency that other countries denominate their international debt in.

There's very little that happens in the world that does not touch or get touched by the United States. The USA doesn't have much choice in this.

You are entitled to your opinion and I will disagree with it. This strategy will not work. People do not want to pay higher prices and will build system that work around the artificial barriers. People will even pay the 30% of so tariffs that are currently in place on China than to build the same products here. It is cheaper that way.

Also, it takes many years to build the infrastructure to build the stuff you are trying to in-source. Tariff policy changes by the month if not sooner. Investors are not lining up to build factories in the US.

Are you instead claiming complete incompetence on part of the Pakistani army? Of course we knew he was there. My fellow Pakistanis really need to realize that we are a pariah state instead of claiming ignorance or victimization.
