You are completely incorrect. Empirically, the country voted with a nearly 50/50 split between the two candidates, meaning the country felt both candidates were "just as bad". Just because you have your own personal biases doesn't actually make them right, the data does.
Empirically, it wasn't 50/50, not even among the percentage of the population that actually voted.

Citizens of other countries are not our problem. This insane modernist belief that all humans are entitled to protection on our dime is poisonous.
It's not modernist to me, in my opinion it dates back to the 1st century. And refugees generally aren't "on our dime." They get jobs.
