I have developed popular Open Source Cloud BitTorrent Client Application in Golang(and Svelte.js) named exatorrent. It's incredibly popular (1.6+k stars, Half million docker pulls) and many people use it. It uses PostgreSQL/Sqlite as db.

Apart from that, I have developed cloud based downloader in Go which lets you download files in your cloud server. I have also developed HyperUpnp - mobile application which lets you to stream media from one device to another. I used to maintain Docker Image of a distro. I also developed solution that lets you compile for MacOS from Linux without any deps. I had once written transpiler which converts dialect of BASIC to C.

I am also quick learner. I will learn anything that's useful to solve the problem. I am good at programming which is driven by my immense interest towards computing.

SEEKING WORK, Kyiv Ukraine, Remote only Amazon Redshift specialist. Web-site : https://www.amazonredshiftresearchproject.org Email is on the site. I offer consulting, rather than fingers-on-keys building-a-system. For clients with existing systems, typically I explain how Redshift works, why they're having problems, and that it's the wrong database for their use cases. For greenfield clients, typically I explain how…

(Your post said "SEEKING FREELANCE" but I've changed it to "SEEKING WORK" in keeping with the instructions at the top.)

My apologies. To me, "work" means a permanent, full-time job, and freelance is pretty much everything else, so you can understand how I interpreted the instructions.

SEEKING WORK

Location: Remote UK Remote

I have a strong background in technology, with over two decades of experience in the field. Throughout my career, I have built a solid foundation of core technical skills and knowledge. I am confident in my ability to understand and work with a wide range of technologies.

My favourite types of projects are those that involve AWS cost optimization and housekeeping. I have a knack for discovering inefficiencies and finding ways to save my clients money, and I enjoy the satisfaction of streamlining and organizing systems. I believe that these types of "housekeeping" tasks are often overlooked, but they can have a huge impact on a company's bottom line. I take pride in being able to deliver great results for my clients and getting the most value for their investment.

I am an AWS, Python, and CI/CD specialist with a focus on cost optimization in AWS. I am seeking ad hoc work that involves creating summary reports on cost optimization in clients' AWS environments. If you are interested in discussing this further, please don't hesitate to reach out.

can i just step in for a second and point out its 30 replies here and just a single seeking freelancer comment. I have never seen this on HN as far as i can remember. Its also the feeling i get from my usual freelancer newsletters and linkedin offers, i have rarely seen the market so empty, not even at the beginning of the coronavirus lockdowns.

Not that rare, especially given the thread is still new.

edit: and it's january.
