To this day I still wish many of the VMS innovations hadn’t remained walled off. Files-11 was a brilliant thing.

#71I feel the same way about logicals. For those unfamiliar, the OS had a distributed hierarchical key-value store like etcd or zookeeper built in, years earlier than these technologies.
