What I find so fascinating about the Trump candidacy is that it is more a conversation about the current cultural climate of America than any specific policies. It seems that we are more interested in talking about how we become so PC than actual policies.

I, for one, have given up on hoping the government will enact forward thinking policies.

No one is arguing against this in particular. Conservatives believe women are human. They're also not all white males. I really hope I do not have to cite sources on this.

Speaking of political correctness, who do people tolerate women's rights? It's just another excuse for sexism. I support the rights of all people (which encapsulates men and women). If you want a level playing field, you have to think beyond gender, skin colour, sexual orientation, etc. when we stop terms like women's rights, I know we've progressed beyond political correctness. I can't wait for that day.

At the moment women tend to be more discriminated against. Focus on the problems you know; however, in line with what you said you can't fix inequality by trading one group's rights with another (aka affirmative action) else you're just going to tip the scales the other way - eventually spiraling into an all-out revenge fest (which is happening in some countries that are dealing with racial inequality). This is where we are headed if we don't tread carefully.

I've been following Adams and the Trump thing with amusement. Aside from the 'Master Wizard' bit Trump's been against lobbyists, tax breaks for hedge funds and the Iraq war, all which could work in his favour. America is a country of 320 million people with a median income of $51,939. A place where people are literally flooding to legally and illegally to get a piece of the prosperity. It a place that in the past 60 years invented the transistor, the personal computer, satellite communication, the internet, chemotherapy, lasers, fiber optics, countless pharmaceutical drugs, the iPhone and Android mobile devices, the list keeps going. Doesn't sound any dystopia I've ever heard of.
