What's a family? Should it be 2-3 kids max, and then you're on your own? A solo adult who doesn't want kids is going to have far lower expenses and "living wage" than a single mother with 6 kids.

I can personally attest to this, along with many of my friends and family. I've driven hundreds of extra miles per trip going around that damned state.

Utah Mormons are of a different mindset, they're on home turf in their promised land and they act like it.
There's a Mormon that runs a local business in my area. One day he puts his business up for sale because he wants to move to Utah to get closer to his faith. Ends up moving back and reopening a couple of years later -- turns out he was Mormon, but not Mormon enough. They don't like outsiders, not even the Mormons from out of state, which kind of makes sense with being a historically polygamous group which expels the young men who aren't in the "in" group. Breeds a mindset of exclusivity.

Yeah, but you don't know the whole story. There was a young motorcyclists who ran from the police and killed in a crashed. His family has a go-fund me still just to collect money.
You should post the link to that. Police chases costing people’s lives is an awful thing, anybody that’s ever seen a cop driving 130mph because they think they’re Knight Rider might want to donate.
How is it not the motorcyclist’s fault? He voluntarily chose to get into a chase with them instead of obeying traffic laws.

They didn't even lose any money, because by closing the store the damages were never paid. It's really depressing to see to be honest.
While this is true at the moment, closing a store and transferring its assets to another store owned by the same people could reasonably be alleged to be fraudulent transfer. The owners don't just get to keep whatever was in the store because they closed it before they paid.

#616The police are wrong of course to participate in targeted harassment. However, it’s not entirely wrong that this is a civil matter. There is a contract regarding this, and there was not normal criminal theft by deception or robbery by force.

It works extremely well which is why bullies and abusers use the tools they do.
Nobody wakes up as an adult and starts doing these behaviors. They have been these kind of maladjusted bullies for most likely their entire lives.
Since current US police forces are largely made up of these exact kind of people, and these people instinctively back each other up, the police also use these tactics to bully people they don't like.
It really shouldn't be a surprise that this nation loves a bully like Trump so much, we have spent decades supporting and elevating bullies to positions of power.
