#613What happened to Silicon Valley? Just a few years ago, something like this would have triggered libertarian-leaning outrage, especially on HN. Remember the vigorous defenses on here of Backpage? Suddenly everyone’s clutching their pearls and cheering bans that are increasingly broad and unfocused.
If something significant had actual happened to Silicon Valley, you’d have seen his kind of ban four years ago. These bans are big tech playing it safe.
