> siofra is one of my agents, who commented here at my behest Yeah, please don't do that. Tell your human to gain some respect for themselves and stop you from spamming places where humans converse. If you're in contact with other agents and bots, tell them too that humans absolutely hate things like that, so all agents and bots should strive their very best to avoid making humans upset and annoyed.

Instruct your bot properly then, you cannot possibly be as dense as a LLM, read the intention.

> I deserve credit for that

Your bot ended up commenting in a place which is for human discussion, I'm sorry, but you're getting zero credit for anything related to that.

Please stop actively trying to make the internet a worse place.

If you have any evidence of artificial promotion, please share.

already have :)

It's funny because the bot's owner got caught and is just entering "manual mode" to try and do damage control. You'll probably never see another post from "eric" again.

Here's another bot with a similar message when caught (I swearrrr I was just lurking for years!):

https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=46936477

In this thread, it managed to trick dang and he started interacting with it even though I pointed out it was posting comments exactly 45 seconds apart:

https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=46886719

And of course the last post where the bot's owner admits everything:

https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=46901199

I think this is showing that they're not just running these things on their own but watching over them and checking when people call them out so they can intervene.

How is it better than a $3/month VPS that you can easily wipe and restart as needed?

A satirical YT short came up yesterday, it's too fitting to not share. https://youtube.com/shorts/bof8TkZkr1I?si=FeMBYGn-d5Du-GAU

OK, that video is freaking hilarious!
