No-one alive more than a few years needs reminding that Iran is part of the 'axis of evil'. However, there are a large number of people unaware that my country and allies are also currently committing warcrimes. You have the right to believe what you like, in my opinion the consequences for blaming our own crimes on others is dire.
No, people do need to be reminded. When all you do is talk about alleged bad actions by the West folks forget about the bad actions that precipitated this conflict and others. > You have the right to believe what you like, in my opinion the consequences for blaming our own crimes on others is dire. Nobody forced Iran to kill 30,000+ of its own people, try to build nuclear bombs, fund terrorists who have and continue…

I can't reply to your latest comment as we reached the end of the thread. It's all good, let's agree to disagree on a few points. Discussions like this are difficult enough, and through text on a site like this even more so

You now: >What do you think the end result of making regions unstable such as by unprovoked attacks on Iran is?
I agree with you, I don't care what they have to say to justify themselves because they don't have a right to be there in the first place.
>Well, maybe I am presuming too much there.
You lack the ability to presume properly, you contradict yourself in just two comments.

Maybe the best you can do is just don't meddle in other's internal affairs. Just think how would you feel if other countries interfered 'with all good intentions, of course' in the internal affairs of your country.
If I were living in brutal dictatorship that has majority support (that’s today Russia) I’d really want foreign powers to „meddle”. But an average Russian likes the current state and hence hates any foreign attempts at influence.
Are you sure that meddling in Russian internal affairs would result in better outcome? Even if it results in the collapse of Putin's regime? Can you predict who will replace him? What will happen to all Russian nukes?
Do you live in USA? Do you think Trump is a threat to US democracy? How would you feel about foreign powers meddling in USA?

The problem with meddling is the unintended long term consequences. Did the historical record teach us nothing? Are you sure that meddling in Russian internal affairs would result in better outcome?
