I am a full stack engineer with extensive experience working in startups and mid-sized companies where I’ve learned to build and maintain highly scalable software products from scratch.

My strongest skills are Typescript, NodeJS, and React. I’ve also built some side projects (mobile apps) using React-Native.

I have been working remotely for 6 years, and I value remote-first companies where I can work with interesting and diverse people from different countries. I understand the importance of well-written communication for remote teams to allow as much asynchronous work as possible, reduce meetings, and increase deep productive work.

I'm a fourth-year Data Science student at the University of São Paulo seeking an Internship role (August - December). My course has provided me with a good background on Statistics and CS, with classes such as Deep Learning, Non-Structured Data Mining and Bayesian Statitics. I have had the oppotunity to do a Research Internship in France earilier this year, receiving one of the most prestigious scholarships available in my country, it was about Time Series extrinsic regression for Mobile Health.

My current experience has been as a Machine Learning Intern, creating a MLP, FCN, ResNet and InceptionTime in PyTorch comparing it to a new implementation for a paper yet to be published. About:

I'm Janki, a user-driven Senior Front-End Engineer with an M.S. in Computer Science, specializing in Interactive AI. Hello! I'm a London-based software engineer with 3 years of experience working as a backend/data engineer in various different startups, including education, retail trading and digital twins.

I can work across the stack, but prefer working on the backend, and also considering learning more about systems development. I definitely consider myself a quick-learner who can pick up new skills and frameworks rapidly, and I have a solid background in CS/Math/Statistics from my undergrad. For my next role, I want to work in a high-stakes environment where I can learn a lot.
