Square's Atlanta office is hiring for multiple positions. We have several full-stack engineering teams in the office building features for our Point of Sale systems as well as backend services that power our payments platform.

We build cellular-connected commercial irrigation solutions. Our smart controllers connect via a cellular aircard to provide a web- and app-based control/monitoring platform for irrigators and property managers (http://www.smartlinknetwork.com). This saves everyone involved time, money, and water. Through our "Save Water | Give Life" initiative, we dedicate a portion of our proceeds to clean water initiatives, building drinking water wells in developing countries (https://www.weathermatic.com/our-cause/).

Our office is in Garland, TX, but our software team works remotely most of the time, just meeting at the office for planning meetings, etc.

We run a core web application in Ruby on Rails, with the field-communication parts written in Go. The system can also be accessed via our React Native based mobile application. Deployed using Docker via AWS ECS, AWS Lambda, and other associated services.
