It's more of a petty "joke" that leftists use because they don't have anything else. It's at the level of a modern SNL skit, all superficial and more of a "mean girl" insult on appearance than satire. GP was correct in saying "no one cares about that or if it is true." That's not the point, the point is to insult.

You make a fair point. He’s actually a very reasonable person with a nuanced yet coherent policy platform, but those darn lefties just can’t get over his hands. As you said, they don’t have anything else; there is absolutely no other criticism that these folks have for Trump.

He does have a coherent policy platform, you may just not like it, and judging from this thread people can't get over his hands.

Seems like people can't get over him in general, we're talking about him in a Google Pixel Fold thread lol.

There may be people with a bad case of it, I assume it's on a spectrum like many personality traits, but the term is heavily overused. I see it mainly used when someone doesn't agree with the other person's line of reasoning. Just right now, my denial of it nearly had you diagnosing me with it. Might as well just go back to calling people heretics.

I agree, but that's not what you said. What you said was "And we're all narcissists... that's nature. It's such a pointless and empty statement", declaring that narcissism, as a category, do…

Yes I believe most people are a "little bit narcissistic" if you have to term it like that.

Do you believe it's binary or a spectrum?

At what point do you think people "cross over" to meet a threshold of being a "narcissist"?

I'll never understand why "thin" is still a standout feature of a phone when they add a fat ugly camera bump on it anyway. Why not make a thicker phone and the camera flush with the casing?

Completely agree, though in this case it makes at least some sense since the thickness gets doubled when you fold it.

You don’t want me to find it funny that you worship a guy sooo insecure about himself that he can’t get over a throw away comment made about his hands decades ago (the full quote was small fingered vulgarian and it was made nearly 40 years ago)? It’s either find it funny or sad - has nothing to do with political beliefs.

He can't get over it, or others can't get over saying the stupid meme? It's not him repeating it over and over. It's childish and not political satire at all.

> It's childish

Well that should be easily relatable then.

Oh no... am I the only one disappointed that they made it fold the wrong way? I was hoping for a phone that's half the size of Pixel7 when folded...

If you sell at BOM + labor + reasonable profit margin, who pays for R&D and who covers the risks? This makes no sense

Are you joking? The reasonable profit margin pays for R&D. Unreasonable margins and over priced crap hurts everyone.

Well, in this case it all boils down to a personal choice of what you label "reasonable".

That's about the level of retort I expected.

Thin matters mostly only for how it fits in your pocket. The camera bump doesn't really impact that.

This drives home to me what a bargain it is to be willing to carry a bag around.

I’m transgender, male to female; and going from a sidebag to carrying mainly just a purse has honestly been a blessing and a curse. I’m aware I could obviously still rock a sidebag as a woman, I just generally don’t; lol, and honestly the smaller format of a purse has its advantages, too.

Masc presenting non-binary AMAB and I definitely carry a man purse and I agree it's amazing and I love it. Definitely taking an adjustment period to be fully comfortable with it.

Could you imagine if Amazon made a fire phone unfolded that’s opens into an e-ink kindle? I would own that.

I dream of a clamshell e-reader, with dual 7 or 8" screens, that reads in the traditional two-pages-at-a-time kind of book orientation. It seems a no brainer to me. It would keep the fragile e-ink substrate safe, while being more ergonomic and allowing you to have twice the screen real-estate without ending up with the terrible reading experience with too-long-lines that you get from current large-screen e-readers.

Every time I pick up my Kobo I imagine it being exactly that - two of them connected with a hinge.
