One could, alternatively, come to the conclusion that the value of you as a customer far undersells the value of the product itself, even if it's doing what you expect it to do.

That is, you and most of claude users arn't paying the actual cost. You're like a Uber customer a decade ago.

I think your surmise is probably wrong. It's not that their growing to fast, it's that their service is cheaper than the actual cost of doing business.

Growth isn't a problem unless you dont actually pay for the cost of every user you subscribe. Uber, but for poorly profitable business models.

Yeah kind of ironic to make a comment about controlling your emotions while cursing at a stranger because you disagreed with their reasonable perspective.

You are assuming that hinkley intended to control their emotions and that cursing wasn't just a rhetorical thing in this instance.

There clearly is a link between words and emotions. But this link - and even more so the link between emotions and actions - is very complex.

Too many fears are based on the assumption of a rather more reductionist and mechanistic sort of link where no one has any control over anything. That's not realistic and our legal system contradicts this assumption.

Euh, WHAT? I have a very abusive relationship with my AI's because they're hyperconfident and very little skill/understanding. Not once have I been reprimanded in any way. And if anyone would be, it would be me.

Same reaction. I treat Claude very poorly sometimes.

Don't bother filing issues there. Their issue tracker is a galaxy-sized joke. They automatically close issues after 30 days of inactivity even if they weren't fixed, just to keep the issue count low. The Reasonable Man might think that an AI company OF ALL COMPANIES would be able to use AI to triage bug tickets and reproduce them, but no!
