I'm Anthony, founder of GroupGreeting. We help companies with a simple but important task of sending greeting cards to their employees for birthdays, work anniversaries, and many other occasions. The pandemic has accelerated a more digital and remote working world and so we've experienced massive growth with companies needing a convenient way to spread appreciation amongst their teams.

Our company is small (less than 15 people), 100% remote (team members in SF, LA, TX, MD, NY), customer focused, product/engineering led, and culturally we care more about output than input.

We're looking for Software Engineers in the US. 5+ years of building and maintaining web applications. Experience with Ruby on Rails. https://apply.workable.com/groupgreeting/j/F1DDBDDF89/

Ameelio | Devops/Infrastructure/Security Engineer | Full-time | REMOTE (US-based, but international OK) | https://ameelio.breezy.hr/p/e2a0d4722bd4-devops-engineer | $90,000 - $150,000

Ameelio is taking on the for-profit prison communications system that makes their money by charging families a fortune for maintaining communication with their loved one. We've been written about by sites like TechCrunch and Fast Company:

https://techcrunch.com/2021/12/20/ameelios-free-video-callin...

https://www.fastcompany.com/90608032/this-app-is-making-it-f...

I'll keep the rest of this technical-focused, but if you want learn more please see the full ad: https://ameelio.breezy.hr/p/e2a0d4722bd4-devops-engineer

We're looking to start scaling our video service dramatically, as well as improving the overall robustness of our infrastructure. We are beginning work on SOC2 that will require a mix of technical changes and documentation/policy. We have a lot of manually provisioned infrastructure that will be brought under terraform/ansible control. We are funded by some huge names in tech, and we have ambitious dreams.

This position is mainly (at least initially) focused on our infrastructure road map, automating infrastructure provisioning, deploying and maintaining infrastructure services (some written by us, others open source tools). That said, this position is not pigeon-holed into just devops/infra stuff. We do not have strict lines between our teams. There will be opportunities to contribute to the application codebases (Connect, Letters, and Authentication service are possibilities depending on interests/skills) as well, particularly where the app intersects the infrastructure/platform.

Preference for a mid-level or senior, but open to highly motivated juniors that are hungry.

If interested, please apply through the Breezy post (linked above). You're welcome to email me at ben at ameelio dot org to let me know you've applied.

Reverie Labs (YC W18) | Cambridge/Boston, MA | Backend and Full-Stack Roles | Onsite (Temporarily Remote) | https://www.reverielabs.com

At Reverie Labs, we’re rethinking drug discovery by building a biotech company that looks and feels like a tech company. We are actively working on several cancer therapeutics programs and building an internal platform to accelerate discovery. We’re looking for engineers across the tech stack, including data scientists, front-end engineers, and full-stack devs to expand the computational systems that generate the next era of life-saving treatments for millions of patients. If you think you might enjoy any of these types of projects, we’d love to hear from you!

* Architecting a Django REST-driven internal application development ecosystem that supports multiple drug development programs.

* Building performant software for billion-scale molecular analyses alongside machine learning engineers.

* Designing and implementing front-end interfaces that enable our in-house chemistry team to interface with software.

* Using Pandas/R/Plotly/Dash or any other of your favorite analysis tools to extract meaningful insights from datasets.

* Combining a set of 25+ in-house experimental assays and 50+ external data streams into a universally accessible data platform.

* Using a modern cloud-first development stack, giving you access to effectively infinite computing power.

* Owning the full development cycle of a product from ideation to implementation to deployment (of course in collaboration with a team!)

We were in the W18 batch of YC and are now based in the biotech hub in Cambridge, MA. We offer competitive salary and above-market equity. Benefits include full medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible vacation policy, and gym membership. If you have any questions or want to apply, please reach out to me at ankit@reverielabs.com (I’m one of the founders), or apply at our website here: https://reverielabs.com/careers.

Seems very interesting, because I'm little frustrated by working with Rails on Ubuntu(Windows WSL). My employer is forced to use it because they want to manage employee's machines for security purpose.

I'm from India and already working for a US based client, are you accepting applicants from India or just US ?

10x Genomics | Pleasanton, CA & San Francisco, CA | Remote (US Only) or Onsite

We're a biotech company that creates software, hardware, and chemistry to accelerate humanity's understanding of biology. Last month, we held our annual event where we discussed how customers make discoveries with our products. We unveiled our in situ platform, Xenium, for the first time [1]!

Our software team creates products that enable scientists to analyze complex biological data. For example, a scientist may use our software to determine precisely which cell types could be cancerous. We utilize Go, React, Typescript, and Electron to create intuitive visualization and web applications. We've written our data pipelines using the Numpy/Scipy/Pandas stack, and we're making increasing use of Rust [2].

We've always been and continue to be remote-friendly. We'll be posting more jobs in the next few weeks, so please contact me directly with your resume at kevin.wu@10xgenomics.com. We're always looking to bring on generalists.

We look forward to hearing from you, and good luck with your search!
