Decentralized solutions invariably appeal to a narrow sliver of nerds but never gain popular acceptance.

As we all know spam text messages aren't a thing since it's very costly and hard to spoof cell phone numbers.

Even a one cent toll is enough to change the economics of many bot behaviours.

It's trendy. If you don't like it, you can go write some go in go. Contribute to a thread on Threads. Write a factory with Factory. Write your reflections in Reflect. Keep in the loop on Loop while you recall what you did with Recall. So many choices.

I haven't heard about radicle in 6 years. Does it work yet?

I recently had to rebuild a jira frontend from scratch just so a single jira tab didn't take down my 8gb MacBook. Support only the subset of features I actually use and it's great. Makes me hate jira even more.

Thankfully, there is a Jira CLI tool[1].
