I run Windows 11 on my gaming PC powerful desktop and a good work laptop.
No issues.
No idea what you guys are doing.
I can also now run and install over cmd powershlle with choco, scoop and winget.
Get Firefox, VLC, MPV and all that.
Get Powertoys.
Run Christitustech utlity for tweaks.
So even less usage for Linux imo.

Linux would need to be willing to safe the work millions of people put into memorizing excel, word and windows workflows.
Libre Office (and a couple others) is pretty close to MsOffice. Not exact, but close.
Not for people who use Excel professionally, not even close. Excel is undefeated.

However in today's world if you expose an unpatched "anything" to the internet then it is very possible that it will be discovered and eventually used to (silently) do things you don't want. That's fine. I'll take responsibility for my decision. Show me a big warning message when I disable automatic updates. If I'm concerned about this scenario, I'll just manually update it (by clicking the update button).

the factory work I do cannot run without Windows.
The software required for my work is supported only on Windows.
Of coures, Linux may give more control. But while people in the US may have a choice, in Korea, for this kind of industrial work, I usually do not.
