Didn't Google invent LLMs and didn't Google have an internal LLm with similar capabilities long before openai released the gpts? Remember when that guy got fired for making a claim it was conscious ? The look isn't good. But it's not dishonest.

No surprises here. Google DeepMind squandered their lead in AI so much that they now have to have “Google” prepended to their name to show that adults are now in charge.
Just some basic tests, it's decent but not as good as gpt3.5 or 4 yet. For instance, I asked it to generate a web page, which GPT does great everytime, and Gemini didn't even provide a full working body of code.
