I’m blaming everyone else for “just use Cloudflare”. How many times the world needs to learn the lesson about letting corps outgrow their usefulness and become maligned? There are alternatives and any search engine can lead you to them

You think other CDNs are immune from the kinds of issues Cloudfare has?

Other ways EU censors centrally are EU wide travel bans that individual countries can issue to prevent political speech by foreigners, under the guise of preventing "incitement" and preserving "stability". Doctor Ghassan Abu Sitta from UK is one prominent example.

Yet other way EU censors centrally are EC sanctions on individual journalists or "journalists" to prevent them from any economic activity within EU, incl. publishing.

Other way EU censors centrally is via DSA, which results in seemingly random bans of channels on "social media" like Telegram, under the guise of fighting "terrorism". Basically this way it tries to silence people it otherwise supports killing without due process.

On the one hand, you have money and famous footballers. On the other hand, you have a bunch of nerds whining about the internet being broken. The average voter (and politician) is out watching the soccer match, and doesn't care about the internet.

Boredom is a bigger issue than hunger or thirst for the average person living in one of these obscenely wealthy countries. For them, impeding entertainment is to impede nourishment. Of course, while anything that aids the entertainment industry is despicable, I do think obstructing the internet is a nice treat for humanity. The only down side is to your point about the relatively insignificance of the people effected (nerds).
