The downwards camera for stabilization and landing is a cool idea. Did they come up with that, or has that been done before?
Nearly all consumer drones have them.

Skydio has something like six cameras around it for this purpose, in addition to the main, gimble camera for footage.
Using a single downwards-facing camera for position tracking via optical flow pre-dates Skydio (the Parrot AR-Drone had it in 2012 I think)

Destruction of light/sound pollution sources in places otherwise free of such pollution is totally morally justified IMO. I was in Vegas a few weeks ago at a pool club. The bouncer was checking everyone's bags; not for guns, drugs, or alcohol, but for bluetooth speakers.

I understand coaseian externality calculations very well; the optimal externality allocation is so far biased in one direction that my statement about destroying bluetooth speakers is an extremely accurate and low-computational-cost estimate of the actual optimum.

Drones are banned in National Parks and State Parks (in CA) anyways. So this sounds like a strawman.
Is it enforced in National Parks? N=1. There are signs everywhere at the Grand Canyon, but the guy flying his drone over literally hundreds of people at sunset a mere 50 meters from a visitors' center and rangers told me, "Oh, sorry, bro. I didn't know."
