SEEKING WORK | Ensenada, BC, Mexico | REMOTE only

Most recent project since I started looking for more part-time work: https://postaspec.com -- post a spec, receive a demo.

Wrapping up a current part-time cryptocurrency trading startup effort over the next month or so. Looking for something three days a week so that I can continue working on my computer vision learning/experimentation during the rest of the week.

Interested in and/or experienced with these areas:

- Machine learning or computer vision, as long as ownership of my own projects stays separate.

- Some recent experience with Python, AWS and data analysis.

- JavaScript, Reason or BuckleScript. Focused the last several years on JavaScript mainly on the back end and before that mainly on the front end. And although TypeScript is fine, my preference would be to have type inference and the few projects I have done with Ocaml have been enjoyable.

- Recent work with cryptocurrency trading APIs.

- Also have some projects over the years with C++, such as Vintage Simulator (programmable emulator frontend, https://vintagesimulator.com).

- Also experienced with C# but probably prefer to avoid Microsoft stack

- Have done a few IOT-ish projects, one with a Rasp Pi which was a home server (Node.js) with email, storage and other applications, some really nice RGB LEDs which we spent way too long on (used some C/C++ for part of that), and a multiplexing proxy thing. Also a NodeMCU tank robot used Lua mainly with a server/page that used the HTML5 gamepad API to steer the robot.

- Built many relational and NoSQL databases over the years and have made my own time series database for a certain application.

- Created many interactive and non-interactive graphs/graphics with JavaScript as well as Python and some other languages, and created 3D interactive interfaces with JavaScript, C++ and C#.

- Quite a few web and desktop front ends including CRUD

SEEKING WORK - REMOTE I help non-technical founders build and launch Million Dollar MVPs. Are you a non-technical founder struggling to find technical partners to help make your startup vision a reality? I’ve spent the last ten years obsessing about how to help non-technical founders get their startups off the ground and into the marketplace. Since leaving Google in 2015 and starting No Nerds No Problem, I’ve grown t…
