Hi, I'm Daniel, R&D engineer at the physical/sensing/compute/inference boundaries. Freelance since Jan 2025: most recently an agentic pipeline for a healthcare startup that adheres to HIPAA and is deterministically prevented from accessing restricted data.

Sole inventor on a pending patent for an indoor localization system with SoTA estimation accuracy in GPS-denied and off-grid environments, where nothing is sent to the cloud.

Before that, IBM: memory controller firmware for POWER servers, and chip-op firmware and bringup/test software for the Z17 mainframe processor. That included a chip-op that cut scanchain verification time by 17% in AWAN simulation. Earlier: a Python computer vision backend for shelf sensors, live at the CVS Manhattan flagship in 2019/2020, and an embedded C++ environmental sensor package still running in several NJ warehouses since 2017.

Personal project: Movement Voltage turns hand pose into control voltage. Stereo camera tracks a hand, an RPi4 turns the landmarks into distances, and 0-5V comes out through an I2C->DAC->jacks board I designed and soldered, into a eurorack synth. Full writeup and photo on the portfolio.

I’m looking for Growth, GTM, or Marketing Operations roles at an early-stage or technical company. I’m strongest at building the machinery behind growth: campaign systems, tracking, launch processes, dashboards, and workflows that make marketing faster, more consistent, and easier to measure. At NXT-USA, I created reusable campaign templates, naming and UTM standards, QA processes, lead-gen workflows, and reporting systems, then used that foundation to help a technical B2B campaign generate 50+ qualified leads on a limited budget.

I also built WealthOS, a personal finance app, because I wanted to understand product and user experience beyond the marketing layer. I have a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. I’m looking for a team that needs someone who can bring structure to messy growth problems while staying close enough to the work to launch, test, and improve it.

Senior backend engineer, ten years on the JVM. Since 2021 I have been one of the engineers behind LoverCraft, a US survival network that peaks at 1,500 concurrent players and holds 300 to 450 on a normal evening, with 30+ cross-server services spread across several Debian hosts. Team of three to five. My work is low-latency cross-server state over Redis, an economy with an audit row per transaction, JVM tuning, and end-to-end telemetry on ClickHouse. When a backend goes down mid-session, players notice in seconds and I am in the incident channel.

Before that, five years at Senior Sistemas building Java, Spring Boot and Angular for Kinross Gold, Petrobras, Banco BMG and Grendene. Intern to owning the software factory's architecture area.

Production work is closed-source under contract. The open-source side is on GitHub, written up on the site. Best fit: real-time or high-throughput backends, game and multiplayer infrastructure, platform work. English is fluent written, intermediate spoken.
