The EU has the same rules. Democracy is only the right to change leaders every few years, not an idealistic way for the people to govern.
The idea is that you change leadership with those who have genuine alignment with subjects' preference for certain policies or ideas, it is not about electing kings who may demand "machines must agree that the Emperor is not naked".

Estonia is specifically known as one of the easiest EU countries to incorporate in. And I'll note that Estonian e-resident ID requires collecting physical card from inside Estonia or a local Estonian embassy.

It's true. Recently I moved to a rural area and many nurses work as doctors. Soon we won't have hospitals here so there's no more need to keep up the cruel charade. It's absolutely disgusting and the primary reason I could never have children. It would be impossible to guarantee their security.
Edit: I haven't yet achieved my savings goal so I can escape to a place where it's safe to have a family.
