This article seems irrelevant. It cites a publication dated March of '25 that must be compiled from information preceding that by a few months. The US didn't go to war in or around that time period.

The intelligence report isn't related here. They obviously weren't talking about facilities that were known to the public to be enriching beyond energy grade.

Maybe US intelligence wasn't perfect and they found a clandestine Iranian nuclear program? Maybe Iran restarted it. Who knows?

I think you’re giving Trump too much credit. If he starts firing shots again the war is illegal. The 60 day window is over. He has no appropriated money to fight the war, no public support, and no way out. There is no chess game here. It’s not even checkers. He is just trying to not have to admit he made a mistake - just with billions of dollars and lives on the line. Such sad.

Americans will need to hold the executive accountable here. Tough to trust, I know. RE Dresden - trickier with an actual, declared war. We’re also still waiting for some Germans to get put in jail. Not sure WWII is a productive example here haha, but I take your point

What we do know is that there was no evidence a few months prior and that Trump explicitly said that he was ignoring the clear lack of evidence in making his decision to attack.
