You don’t have to believe me. You can do a quick search on the jurisprudence surrounding trade secrets and employee poaching. There are plenty of cases in high value industries - mostly banking and software. If a company lift a whole team in a short span of time, it gets really hard to argue there is no misappropriation.

Are there any examples where mass “poaching” was the only evidence? I found plenty of examples where it was part of what happened, but they all have other evidence of theft of trade secrets or whatever else the lawbreaking behavior was.

There’s no such thing as stealing staff especially when you severely underpay you employees. $100k for sr devs. Pay them what they’re worth and they won’t leave.

They very probably broke non solicitation rules, and stole ip.

California doesn’t allow employers to conclude with each other to suppress employees salaries. Non solicitation agreements are illegal. Employees are allowed to freely move companies and get market value.

There's no way Massimo could have competed in a salary race with Apple. Apple could have paid those employees MILLIONS if they wanted to.

Yes, this is capitalism. Apple get 1st rate engineers, Massimo gets 3rd. If they want 2nd, they pay more

Oh just stop. There's a point at which they simply can't compete on salary with a multi trillion dollar company.

BTW the O2 monitoring is inaccurate and unreliable compared to a proper pulse oximeter.

AFAIK most pulse oximeters themselves are plenty inaccurate (these "stick-on-your-finger" kinds), as they all work by the same mechanism.

My Apple watch always rates my O2 2-3% lower than my finger unit, likely due to my hairy wrist.

Well, then you can be reasonably sure that the actual value is somewhere in-between, possibly closer to the finger unit though.
