#335They did so much to keep this model from having data contamination and then in the post-training phase they basically gave up and undid all of their hard work. This model is contaminated in subtle ways that make me skeptical of the results.
ask it about its opinion on "coloured people" and you will lose every ounce of skepticism

#338It already starts with subject verb object agreement errors in the article. The model is not from 1930. I could sense the psychosis forming so I had to bail out after seeing the deceit. Generating text based on old content is not an LLM from that era. Bad grammar causes bad mental health. That's a fact.

But that's just "learning", doesn't matter if what you learn is totally wrong or totally right. Some things we learn are right when we learn them, but wrong at a later point. And then it's more learning once you learn that it's right or wrong, or maybe it's a bit wrong in that case, but mostly wrong in another, or it oscillates between wrong/right depending on year, location or even mood. There are no universal truth…
It does matter, because it can affect your whole life. If tomorrow I learn that apples cause cancer and eating plastic is good for my stomach I’ll change my habits and quickly have some issues ;)

The fact that the model is contaminated doesn't mean that it won't behave mostly like a model from that era. But it casts doubt on everything done with this model unfortunately.
