Support Ukraine enough so that Russia doesn't take too much more territory, but not enough for Russia to feel threatened and escalate the war. People complained that the Russians didn't protest more at the beginning of the war, and here you have the Americans, who won't be sent to Siberia or thrown out of a window, doing nothing.
