I would be curious if anyone with knowledge in the space could comment on whether or not LK-99 may get us closer to viable nuclear fusion?

My understanding is that magnetic field containment systems are at least part of the technical hurdles required to make fusion feasible.

Depends it's wet lab science or dry lab.

There is an anthropic line of reasoning over Everettian branch universes where you can actually expect these types of highly unlikely events to happen more often than chance alone would predict if they promote futures with more Born-rule weighted observer-moments.

How would that be any better than commercially viable fission breeder reactors (which seem far closer to reality than commercially viable fusion energy)?

This is ELI5 stupid Q:

What may be the benefit of running a sequence of "coils" or whatever the Loops may be comprised of such that the N/S to whatever polarity positions are required, could be an LK-99 then a super cooled, then an LK-99 etc...

If it was in a toroidal spiral (everyone things of the trajectories as linear, but toroidals spirals are most efficient)

you could have hybrid tracks - where maybe a linear launch is good, but a toroidal control for spins off routing is ideal (think a 3d roundabout - to launch vessels diff directions...

A good one would be "productive AI." People forget, but a short while ago, AI was treated as something where being actually useful was perpetually 20 years away, and the real-world status of it was exemplified by a chatbot like Eliza.

Yea, Eliza is a far worse chat bot than ChatGPT… More seriously AI has made lots of things better, it’s really the hype cycle that’s disappointing. More FPS in games just isn’t as exciting as self driving cars. But by the time you can buy a level 5 self driving car the technology will be pedestrian.

When COVID hit, my American Airlines flight got canceled and when I went online to ask about getting credit, I got connected to a bot. When I asked to be connected to a real person instead of a bot, the person came online and said: "My name is Eliza. How can I help you today?" At this point, I was very skeptical, but she was indeed a person.

It would be the opposite. Nobody with develop technology to utilize it because there are no protections. No MRI, No Fusion, ect.

Bullshit, science isn't driven by patents or funded by private industry.
