I’m asking if it’s possible to secure the MDM process in a way that Iranian operatives can’t simply torture an administrator into pushing the big red MDM button.

Yes I made this reference upthread.

No it dates to the late 1800s with the creation of Zionism. It's important that we stay rooted in history and not religious mythology.

The Middle East had plenty of wars, religious violence, etc long before the late 1800s. The Crusades are not religious mythology. The Mongols are not religious mythology. The Rashidun Caliphate was not religious mythology. These are just three entries in a very long list of non-peaceful power shifts in the Levant.

None of that has anything to do with "Israel", which is a creation of Zionism, again from the late 1800s.

Yep, not a single first party source. You have not provided the Iranian statement that these well known Zionist media properties claim exists.

I believe Android Work profile[0] would have limited the damage to the work profile rather than also impact the personal profile on a personal device. Does anyone know if this is correct? [0] https://www.android.com/enterprise/work-profile/

Exactly. BYOD cannot be wiped [0], neither on iOS, nor on Android. Only company-owned devices are affected. edit: 0 - on iOS this means enrolled via User Enrollment

Thats assuming their IT department was competent and did the enrollment process correctly. Which, based on them just getting mega hacked, seems unlikely.

What do YOU consider to be "first party sources" for Iran?

Why it is OK for Iran to be an Islamic Theocracy but wrong for Israel to be a Jewish State? This is a pretty big double standard. You use the word Zionist like a slur.

A first party source, means directly from the originating party. In this case, there is no statement from Iranian officials that exists. Just 2nd hand quotes. Other first party sources would be photographic evidence, videos... like what we have of Zionist crimes in Gaza, the West Bank, Iran, Lebanon...

Iran is inhabited by indigenous people. Israel is ruled by colonizers. That is the difference. Another huge difference that impacts me as a US citizen is that Iran has zero influence on my government and there are zero laws removing my rights in favor of Iran, which is the exact opposite of Israel.

Sure. We're both right.

You said: "$group has been meddling in the Middle East since $group was created"

I said: "groups have been meddling in the Middle East for millenia."

You disagreed, apparently because you're choosing to define "the current situation" as "Zionists meddling in the Middle East" so I suppose you're tautologically correct that the "current situation" has been around as long as they have.

As a US citizen you should be aware that the US was stolen from the Native Americans the exact same way you believe that Israel was stolen from the native population.

Iran was violently colonized by Arabs. The history of most countries contain many wars over land yet only Israel gets focused on. So strange.

And the only reason Iran is Shia is because it was converted by force

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safavid_conversion_of_Iran_to_...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muslim_conquest_of_Persia

The Muslim conquest of Persia or Arab conquest of Iran occurred between 633 and 651, when the Rashidun Caliphate under Umar conquered the Sasanian Empire as part of the early Muslim conquests, which began under Muhammad in 622.

Can you like I did name a company or technology that works like this? Companies use M365 or Gsuite. Go. I can type words too but they dont mean anything. "Make it good zero trust wowo"

Everyone doing it doesn't make it a good idea. The big tech companies and governments are I think a little more paranoid about rouge admins, so they do at least try to limit the blast radius of any given credential, but almost no-one else has that level of maturity, which creates this pretty big chasm in the resiliance of IT organisations as you go from small to large. (There's also a certain irony about IT complaini…

I think you do not understand what a massive undertaking even securing a tenant in GSuite or Office 365 can be. Plus networking. Plus end user computing.

On top of this you want companies and governments to make their own tools?

You have a vision... of something zero trust. Now make it and implement it. Oh, not so easy?

S3 buckets used to be open by default. Office 365 had MFA as optional for a looooong time. So things are improving.
