Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure team is building new Infrastructure-as-a-Service technologies that operate at high scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. Our customers run their businesses on our cloud, and our mission is to provide them with best in class compute, storage, networking, database, security, and an ever expanding set of foundational cloud-based services.

I am looking for seasoned engineers to help build one of the foundational pieces of the cloud -- the Virtual Machine. My team owns the customer-facing Virtual Machine Service for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). We build the Hypervisor fleet, automate regional expansion and also develop features for Virtual Machine customers.

The problems we work on are both fun and challenging: anything from low-level data plane features (operating system concepts, virtualization, advanced hardware) to higher level services which support the core of OCI's Compute product. We also have an outstanding engineering culture at OCI with an emphasis both on engineering excellence and work-life balance.
