What screenshot are you looking at? Because there are no red exclamations in the image on the linked tweet
Next tweet in the thread shows them. First pic is cropped (not sure why)

Hacker News does it. Reddit does it sitewide. Individual moderators do it sitewide. Shadowbanning is an essential tool for moderation, for dealing with trolls, spammers, abusive people. You can argue the tool is being used too widely by Facebook, but it is silly to pontificate against the practice as a whole. You reaaaaallly would not like the uncensored internet.
I am sorry, but the uncensored internet is the only type of acceptable internet. Anything else is just gov or corp interests.

The censorship is intentional, but the silence is a bug in the react code. You can look at the console in chrome devtools to see. There is an error message informing the viewer that their message was censored. The message is incorrectly hidden when you send additional message. Also refresh the page and the messages disappear from the viewer.
As good as they are at 99.99% of what they do, almost every time a friend brings an example to me of Facebook doing something malicious, it turns out to be simple implementation error.

After big tech stepped in to ban news articles on Biden selling political influence to foreign nationals most people stopped even considering these kind of things conspiracy. But to OP's point on joebiden.info: https://www.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/hr30p3/reddit_f...
He's President and won with 81M votes. Your crying won't change that, just so you know.

It happened. This website has a blurb about it https://censortrack.org/case/joebideninfo . I tried it a few months ago and it was blocked. Here's a screenshot I made of it: https://i.imgur.com/KZa60db.jpg
That website needs proofreading, it does not instil confidence in your case. If it actually happened, it would be trivial to record it happening and to share that recording. But this makes it clear you are just trying to throw more confusion onto the election.
I'm not going to jump through hoops to prove this for you - please do some cursory online research.
This is bewildering. I have no agenda nor care enough to comment about a foreign country's election.

Right or not, I think charitably, the person you are responding to is pointing out that this is not a new thing in social media sites. It's a decades old technique at this point.
Shadow banning isn’t really something used in private messages, no?

Why don’t we judge each action on its individual merits instead? Why can’t we simply say “yup, this site is a problem, nothing of value lost here” without worrying about whether they’re going to block speech about whether 2 or 3 teaspoons of yeast is the right amount to put in a loaf of bread, or whether my candidate for school board is better than yours? Let me be super clear here: nobody is entitled to use other pe…
I ran into this block last year trying to send a link with a comment like "wow this is wild, if this is what people really believe our democracy is in trouble ", that felt like a hinderance to even discussing the problem.

#328My hope that future internet will be decentralized
What good is decentralizing the transport, if the sites and destinations and applications aren't?

Trust me. The way activism is going, they would do it even with no money offered.
Indeed, both the "woke" and the "alt right" are united in their love of repressing what other people have to say. You are correct!

Reddit was also silently removing comments containing joebiden.info Not sure if they still are
One of my comments in Reddit was changed by admins. It was something related with d... Not directly related with my comment but this is a proof https://techcrunch.com/2016/11/23/reddit-huffman-trump/
Or are you saying there was a different comment editing incident? If so, that would be big news. He promised not to do it again, so if he did, he's breaking a promise, and I think that would be pretty newsworthy.
