I don’t think that argument holds very strongly. My grandma worked on typewriters, and then word processors in the 70s/80s. She had no problem doing her job. She’d been using a Windows laptop since the mid/late 2000’s, and it’s always been a huge struggle for her. TBF tablets do a fraction of what regular computers do.
I find it hard to believe that she finds hard to do the things she does on her tablet on her the laptop.
Like, for example, working with excel file (spreadheets in general) on a tablet is excruciatingly hard, while I've seen literal computer illiterates fly on their keyboards
