#33Wow, two announcements by Google on HN on the same day both look like a scam. localllm just being a downloader and wrapper for llama.cpp, and this one giving many users a 404 after subscription. I think Google is officially dead.

#34Title may be (unintentionally) misleading if, post-subscription, it consistently 404s for everyone!
I'll be interested to see some independent comparisons against OpenAI's models, but like everything AI-related Google has done recently, it feels like it's all a bit too little too late - and this is the latest bungled product launch..
In the UK, it states:

Which is about 20% more than I currently pay to OpenAI. Is Google's model 20% better?
